Picked up some parts for camber and toe links. Had to Stark it and use 30wt shock oil for cutting fluid. |

| Re: JIA's IFS Ultra4 build Good? Bad? The new tires are only 1/4" taller than the Ripsaws. Look huge, though. Must be the square profile. Quote:
Might take a few days to shoot the video footage.

I must've missed this, but are you going to use this for crawling or higher speeds?

I plan on it being an all-around rig. Should be a sweet G6 rig. Build it, drive it, learn about how it handles specific situations, and make tweaks to set-up or my driving style. Here's an addition to the "cave" today. Picked up a small 3" clamp-on vise for $18. Will come in especially useful for threading the links I'm making. Also, I stuck a Ripsaw next to the Irok for size reference. Square face of the Iroks makes them look HUGE. |

That cage is truly a work of art. So much money and skill put into it. It looks awesome.

JIA, I have a feeling you already stated it but I don't feel like reading through ten pages of thread to find one measurement - what's the wheelbase at as it sits right now?

Thanks, guys. Wanted to work on it today, but I've been feeling like crap. Quote:
Just measured, it's right at 14". On both sides. So it's square. Also scored a little something to help with future metal-working projects. Got a couple of weird looks when I carried it into the hotel. "Is that a small air compressor?" "No, it's a plasma cutter." Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 07-15-2012 at 11:43 PM.
