I'm always amazed at the ingenuity on this site... almost as much as I'm amazed by the 'doubters' and 'why the hell would you do that' kind of comments. People have been trying to make remote lockers for ANY kind of diff for as long as I can remember, and only a handful of companies have ever bothered to market such a product. Quite simply... if it works for wraith, it can be made to work for scx10... and for the scale people, a remote locker for axial diffs is absolute gold! Keep up the good work |

but... if you look at a real lock right or aussie locker (any lunchbox locker) the springs are small in those soo imagine how small theyd be in our crawlers. if a company figured it out though id buy one tonight

Hello. Great Job! Very intelligent and simple! I am trying to do the same on my future axial wraith axles, where can I find the differential case and lockring? Did you make them yourself? |

Hi, very nice work on this one. A friend and I developed some for the SCX Axles, adds a lot to the scale driving factor. As to the people who don't understand the WHY, they just haven't had some yet. Diff spider gears should be the same as the SCX ones, Axial 30390, but i'm not sure at 100% as a don't have a Wraith. Greez, Serge |

Could you provide us with more information on how you did it with the scx10 axle? A guy from over the border also did it here: Stock Jeep JK Rubicon - Scale 4x4 R/C Forums

This is a great idea. No clue why people are bashing you on this. A rig like a wraith that has the capability to travel at faster speeds then a dedicated crawler should absolutely have diff's front and rear. If you take something like a stampede and lock the diff's in it it would handle horribly. Prob to the point of not even being any fun for lack of control in cornering. I know the wraith isn't as fast as a pede by any means but at full speed it could surely benefit from diff's. Look at the traxxas summit.....remote diff's from the factory. I say props to you for figuring out a way to make it happen

They bash him because they didn't think of doing it themselves, and ran out of threads to post asshole remarks on!! They're probably pissed cause they got grounded (if young) or their wife hates them and doesn't give them any (if older) and that's all they have to do... No clue why anyone would have such smart ass comments to such a cool idea. The dude simply just put it up for people to see what he had made. Little did he know there were so many geniuses on the site... Keep on doing what you do, I think it's cool as shit and a ton of work. The day you start worrying about what some these twerps say, that you may reevaluate your life.. Awesome job!! Like said above I'm amazed at some of the things people think of. |

I'd like to see something like this for a yeti, twin hammers or IFS wraith! It would make quite a bit of sense on a lower, faster rig that also wanted to lock it up for crawling.

Anyone who is in the crawling is digging the remote locker dif! Great work man! I am also looking for a similar method of locking a little larger dif that I intend to use for a 6x6 or 8x8 construction dumper truck. And imagine that machine with locked difs = not fun to drive at all. I've got a RC4WD Gelande 2 D90 and the only issue I have with it is that it hasn't got the remote lockable difs as it is quite heavy and I normaly run it with 2x3S4.0Ah batteries, front bumper, winch, lights... and a spare tire = very heavy rig. So upgrading to remote lockable difs would be great improvement in my book. |

Great job mate, good on you for going to the manufacture stage that a lot of us only dream of. If it fails rebuild it better. Don't give up, awesome idea. I'd buy one right now |
