Nice!

I last touched this stuff in 2009 and had mixed feelings about being able to bolt together a plastic tube chassis. Mina even mentioned how crazy it was - all the time we spent bending and brazing is now reduced to a few bolts.

Now I've realized it's one of those situations where "the more things change, the more they stay the same"

Those that built custom crap back in the day are still building custom crap. Just it's from plastic.

Thanks JIH, I was thinking the same thing...

What would take me hours brazing, bending, cutting can be done in minutes with a mini saw, drill and dremel

I have to admit its kinda fun taking a average chassis and making it totally custom

I gotta admit I like it. as a comp rig I am sure it would do better than the wraith.

I often thought about taking out all my tube from the Honcho, wraith, Proline and CGR and seeing what I can construct.

I like everything except the aluminum boat-sides. Very ingenious use of parts, the Honcho spare tire holder is sweet too!

Preparing for the Pro4 that should be here tomorrow I installed some HR hardened gears in the tranny, and for steering the Hitec 7950th gets the call with a Robitronics arm and Chaotic Crawlers 4 bend steering arms...

My MMpro arrived and mounted...I also wanted to mount my 3racing winch but space was limited so this is what I came up with all chopped up...

The home stretch

Got the MMP and Pro4 all wired up and ready to fly...Im running 13/60 32p gears and it is GRAVY!!! I love the low end control and the top end is outstanding!!!

I also narrowed up the front end and re cut the hood with new pins...

Also added some Losi crawler shocks to control the corners and this bad boy is good to go
