Talking "Desert Troll" Ultra4 Style

When it comes to the Wraith, and RCC for that matter you are only limited by your imagination...This is the proression of the "Desert Troll", Axial did an amazing job providing a solid platform for a Ultra4 car I just thought it was a little long so out came the saw, dremel and drill...

I cut the top at the usuall spot then chopped the rear about 2.5''

I took a page out of Dirk a Dirk379's book and straitened up the B pillar

Then according to 801RCC Ultra4 rules the frame has to be at least within the wheelbase and I really like the look of a spare tire so I added a spare tire carrier using a Honcho bed piece all chopped up of course

I really didnt like the hangover of the top bars so I chopped them even with the B pillars...

The front end was looking a little long so I chopped, drilled and tapped it back 3/4''... Now were in business Dont worry that second bar was drilled and tapped in place

Now we're getting somewhere

Now it was time to refresh the panels to get what I was looking for so I broke out the lexan and went to work and this is what I came up with...Oh Green is my favorite color so almost all my rigs have been green

Everyone know its "all in the details"

I broke out some aluminum and went to town with the shears and breaks I have at my disposal...Every hole was measured, drilled and redrilled by hand and it took FOREVER!!! I also made a Fuel Cell and added batts, radiator, fans and a Ultra light bar...

What do you mean? The interiors not done yet??

Looks better in the bigger pictures. I didn't catch the lower radiator mount before, looks slick.

Great work on the tubing modification! So cool that the plastic can be worked into just about anything, all it takes is a vision and some work! This is a cool rig for sure.

Thanks Ty, yeah it's fun to work with that's for sure...

I got some work done on the interior this morning, not too extravegant but simple and effective... I took the aluminum treatment to the inside and went for a "hammered" look with the paint so I laid down some gunmetal gray and backed it with silver... Im sure ill think of more to do but the inside is done for now....
