How do you like those shocks? I'm thinking about getting a set for my build, also did you buy or make the bar around the light bar I am going to order that light bar for my wraith as well, great build I hope mine looks that good when it's all finished up!

Thanks. I like the shocks, see my previous post. The lightbar is made out from a spare frame around the headlights. Sprue AX80075 I belive it is. I just narrowed it and glued it together with a piece of metal rod for reinforcement. It's also screwed to the rollcage.

It's all home brew. Led bar is made from styrene and a BA15 21W car Led bulb. It didn't turn out as good as I hoped for due to many airbubbles in the epoxy. So for the moment I'm waiting for a led bar from Mad dog RC.

Thanks! Did some more work today. Sorry for the out of focus pictures. I hate my camera!

The "chino 63" light bar from Mad dog RC dropped in the mailbox today . Now its ready for some darkness :p

Quick and simple mounting with cable clamps. Same clamps as used on the hinged hood.

Reworked the rear shock mount to soften the suspension and lower the rear end slightly. It also gives me some more room for the soon to come anti-sway bars.

New fairlead bracket to make room for anti-sway bar.

Extended steering column with a piece of 6mm thin wall aluminum tube (5mm i.d.) I need to find a driver for it.

I got bored today due to bad weather. So I fabricated panels to cover up the battery. For material I used a icecream box wich I primed and painted.
I think they turned out pretty okay.

Looked at the shocks too. By changing the bump stops I gained 4mm suspension travel.
There is no risk bottoming out the damper by doing this.

There felsenfest no-slop lockers from Germany. You can find his thread on these in the venders section. You PayPal him and two weeks later they'll show up on your door step. They take alittle bit of work to align them with the four set screws but I have them as well and they hold up well.

Not really. Just add thread lock and be done with it.

Yep. And you need to work quick before the threadlock cures. I had to redo them, but no problem after that.

After a couple of runs it started to make more and more grinding noise. I discovered that the pinion gear had "lost some teeth" :(
I used a steel pinion gear, but it probably wasn't the same steel grade. So I'm using the opportunity to swap to 32p setup.

Dang!! I have read sooo much positive coments on the Pro4 3300KV so I could not resist getting one.
I ordered a bunch other parts at the same time.

-Axial aluminum differential covers.
-Axial aluminum lower links mounts.
-Axial aluminum C-hubs.
-Axial aluminum knuckles.
-Axial aluminum straight axle collars.
-Robinson Racing 32p 56T slash 4x4 spur.
-Robinson Racing 32p 14T 5mm pinion gear.

Axial sways is fitted, but not tested thou. I might soften them up a tad to acheive full flex again.

It's getting there. Radiator in. Need to rework the EXO light bezel to make it blend in more.

Fixed radiator hoses too.

Still got decent flex with the axial sways added. F:softest R:modified medium to be softer than the softest.
