Thanks! Yes I like them too. To get enough room for all electronics exept ESC I had to make a new box for it. It's not waterproof, but this will never see mutch water anyway.

Here you can see the JOLT+R ESC FETs sticking out on the bottom of the box just below the winch. This ESC powers the winch.

Some of yesterday and todays work. I built it from 3mm plasticard and some scrap aluminum.

I never thought of hiding electronics under a "fuel cell"
Thanks for the excellent idea.

There is no electronics inside the fuelcell. I managed to put everthing up front exept the MMP ESC wich is in front of the fuel cell partly under the interior. I'm also going to stick a EXO radiator and fan in there together with PL scale batteries.

It's getting closer!

I'm still waiting for the 13,5T Tekin to arrive so I decided to give it a different colour. Hope you like it.

Very nice looking Wraith!!! What are those lockers that you installed? Where did you get the diamond plate with that small of pattern?

Thanks! They are Felsenfest lockers (Found in Vendors market). I picked up the diamond plate from my local tinsmiths thrash bin.
I'm also waiting for the RC4WD XL winch hook, MAddog RC LED light bar, Junfac scale hubs and softer springs to arrive.

The first test run i the garden didn't go trouble free :(

-Loose lockers F/R x2! (Think I have to clean e'm up and use a bit moore Loctite (Green))
-Spinning slipper (Tightened it down OK!)
-Stopped after a while. Over temperature on ESC? Didn't hear the fan on the ESC running. Any suggestion?
-Grinding noise from gearbox.

Here is the reason for the grinding noise..... Wobbly Spur gear.
It was like this from first inch.

I'm starting to getting tired of waiting for parts.

Looks like the spur gear is crooked in the caliper not a very accurate reading

I know the picture is a bit blury, and it,s not croocked in the caliper. You can see the difference in thickness just by eyeballing it.

Looking really nice. What do you think about those new shocks? What size are you running? Thinking about ordering a set to try, they look killer and design looks pretty cool.

I like them very well. I got the 103mm shocks. They are absolutely total quiet due to no air bubbles inside. I might have gone with the 4-hole soft piston instead of the 3-hole together with the softest spring. Included in the kit is the medium spring.
