Got some carter fab inner fender front and rear panels. Excited about them showing up but it does push me back a little bit on finishing the project. Oh well the more time I put into this only the better it is. Got the clear axial lenses for the light bar and covers along with some more scale goodies.
The brushless comment has me wondering, anyone I have ever talked to has always said no water with brushless. What gives? Never have tried it due to the statements and the price of a brushless compared to a brushed.
Once the panels get here I proceed on installing the ESC and the servo with shrink tubed cables all the way. No electrical goes uncovered in this project! Guess that's the low voltage worker coming out in me. I am not dropping in the interior until all the wiring is done.

Some storage for electronics in the back

Installed some window nets in the rear

And props out to BGR welding for getting me this sweet front stinger bumper with winch mount location...next up, I need a winch!

Yeah, stock speedo. I've heard of the short shaft issue causing excessive heat. Also maybe gear mesh?

But anyway, yeah... Stock speedo and Titan 12t.

Not like I would come on here and be like "oh it's the best set up ever!" it's just what I ended up with via some... Shall we say... Afro engineering. But hey it works!

I finally got the STRC upper links in the mail, damn that was a wait. They are now installed. I also have installed the inner fender panels in the rear. Thanks to Carter Fab for these panels. Primed the body and trying to figure out the best mounting for it. Only a little more wiring left to do then its on to the electronics installation...more to come!

RC4WD wireless winch on its way! Got the rear shocks mounted up. Body is in perfect position and ready to be painted then mounted down. More of the light bar components have been installed also. Mounted up the roof rack. Looks like I will be moving along nicely this week.

seems no matter how i adjust this draglink....
ive tried from both left/right sides, spacers, sofforth?

and the one link has been removed to allow the panhard to function properly!

I have noticed the vp link is straight. I was gonna do some bends in mine to see if that helps at all. I have only attempted CMOS on my scaler and it was lifted too high for it to work. This is a lot lower ride and I think I can make this work. If not I rip it out and axle mount the servo and call it good. I much rather have performance over less steering power. I will update the page when I get to steering linkage setup.

I had the same problem, What would be good gearing to run the titan?

I have no clue this rig has never been run yet, currently I am on stock 80/20. That will be changing before I run it though. I don't even have my hands on the Titan motor yet.

Burned my 12t titan the second time I ran it. Though it came installed on my traded for wraith, so it could have been worn out. I did have a 3s on the stock ESC, only just learned that it's rated for a 2s.

im sure your goin 32p....but that would be better then that stock paperthin gearing it comes with!
1st thing i did to mine was get the 54t slash spur and 14t rrp pinion.

I skipped the 32p gears and when straight to a Robinson slipper and pinion. Figured why mess around right?

mess around?
the 32p slash spur fits right up to the axial slipper.

sure RRP is a great option but not any easier?

Not messing around as in I have a pro4 coming in soon and don't fell like running plastic anything. Plus that stock slipper pad didn't work well when water gets to it. Mine came out mushy feeling after it ran though water.

21T Titan is great on 13/56 or 12/26 32 pitch with 3s...dunno about the 12T....21T is a way better choice in Wraith.
