I'm going 3s 40c on a Mamba Max Pro, still haven't picked a brushed motor. I hate Traxxas and am proud to say the only Traxxas I own are the plugs for my batteries. I have looked at a Novak 20t. Any other brushed suggestions besides Holmes Hobbies?

It's the Losi short course buggy window nets. Trimmed off the mounting points and they fit perfect.

Looks good brotha....!
Heres a few pointers
I would have made the body come completely off so you can get to the battery. Traxxas Posts will screw right in the cage. ...
You are going to need all metal HD Tranny gears for the size of that motor cause that idler will shred.
That stock servo is gonna glitch you out in a bind, so grab a BEC.
If you want it to steer better install Vanquish knuckles and Axial HD overdrive in the front and underdrive in the rear. (Cause they dont steer for sh_t)
Lastly, Ditch the stock lockers....Brushless power equals death to even axial HD's. Rpp sells a set for $14.99. I run Highland No Slop but I'vbe even burned those out but are still better than other No slop's

Thanks for the advice Scott. The body does come off but I cut it so the hood will lift on your hood kit. I am running an oem servo rated at 284oz. I currently have the same servo as on my scaler and it rocks without a bec. I do have a bec and am going to be using it for the winch. I will be replacing the tranny but all my money went to other parts of the project so I will run stock until it strips out. The strength in my drivetrain now is the MIP shafts. The drive train is the easiest part to get to so once one thing goes out I will plan on replacing all the lockers and transmission gears. I am running the 4600 now but plan on saving it for a pre runner project in the future. I am going to give a shout out on all the accessories when the build gets to that point. Anyone have a scale shock they want to part with that I can use as a steering arm? As far a vanquish goes...I will stick with Strc for now, I like to keep some change in my pocket!

What paint did you use on the rollcage, and how has it held up to wear and tear? IT looks great!

I used tamiya plastics roll can paint. This build has never seen dirt, I have yet to finish it. Once the custom inner fender panels show up the build is going to move right along. Even if it gets scratched I think it will contribute to the personality of the vehicle with the painted hard body.

Got the front indicator lights mounted and wired. Also installed the inner fender panels, thanks Carter Fab! Speed controller water proofed and installed. Now time to wire up the bec and bring the whole wire nest to the rear.

Just ordered a radiator and fan set maybe that will motivate me to finish the styrene bed and put the finishing touches to this build!

Does the back tire modify uncorrectly the car's weight balance?

This has never seen driving so I don't know, it looks good back there and there are a lot of mods out there with the back tire in this position. I am looking at a BGR fab stinger rear bumper/tire mount too.
