Lights look great, but I'd brush some Plasti-Dip or similar over the led leads on the lightbar so they don't get bent and then short out on each other. I ran my Wraith without the roof before I cut up the cage cause it looked way better imo. After I cut up the cage I cut the roof in half and put it on kinda looked better to me, but it was a toss up...looks good without too. Pics are in thread here:

I too love the light design and I was thinking about doing it the same way for my EXO. But it looks so fragile.. Maybe It'll hold, only time shows that?

Luckily it is cheap experiment, LEDs don't cost too much, so no worries if it doesn't hold, to be honest I'm more worried how the actual light bar hold when the car is rolled over. Leds are after all in quite safe place.

Went to test the Wraith and shot some video, working on that and posting it later.

Started to make and test if I could make front body panels with internal fenders from aluminium, let's see how that turns out...

Thanks, not sure how long exactly I did use for building it, couple of days I guess, but was doing it really with time and enjoying.
I definitely recommend to build a kit, best way to get to know the model and how it works.

get the kit +1

you get to know your rig inside out by building it from scratch

you get a few upgrades like the CVDs and lower alloy links

...and you dont have some 7 year old sweat shop kid putting it together for you lol

Got my 4WDS kit from Asiatees, it sure did arrive soon and the parts seem ok.
Installation was quite straightforward, it does limit the suspension travel -> it bottoms sooner, lets see if I can change that with CMS, but that has to bee custom made, haven't seen anywhere rear CMC kits.

Got everything installed, even painted the servos aluminium to black. Rear servo doesn't show up too much.

First test, boy those servos take some serious power, no chance of powering them via MMP, at least not with 7.0V, it was browning al the time, then I programmed the BEC to 5.0V and then it could be used, CC BEC ordered though ;)

Second test with 5.0V, boy the 4WDS is FUN, I have some degrees of opposite in normal and in other position I have max opposite streering. This thing can really turn now in no space, takes little time get used to streering, but it is really best mod I have made to my rig, definitely #1, I recommend it to everyone who has 3CH radio.

Finally I received my Chaotic Links, no more sloppiness in rear. Also planned and modelled the CMS in rear, but having second thoughts, it would require some heavy modifications in rear and not sure if it is worth it?

Took test drive on a schoolyard next to our house, it was fun and precise run, even dropped it from cliff about 3 ft high, straight on rear wheel sideways, but no harm done, fingers grossed, I had to adjust sub trim though. I'm going to do a video on that schoolyard later, it had some pretty fun obstacles...

Finally received CC Bec, and some other goodies.

I will power the RX and servos from CC Bec at 8V and Leds will be powered from MMX Bec at 7V, actually quite handy, to be able to adjust the voltages for radio and LEDs separately.

Some spaghetti my Wraith at the moment, might take some work to tidy up the cables.

Had to change the switch to be able turn on both ESC and BEC from single switch
