Is that the Alsa "Killer chrome" like I'm using?

It's Rust-o-leum. It's very close to chrome though. I bought 3 different "silvers" tonight and sprayed a test panel. On the test panel you could see your reflection in it. Not like a mirror but you could. The other one I liked was called Aluminum, and of this doesn't pan out like I want, I'll use it.
Step brother is a professional air brush and custom painter, he told me to use the gloss black base to give it depth.
Sprayed the chassis black and letting it cure till tomorrow evening.

Couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a can of paint. Touch up would be expensive. Brother pointed me to this stuff and said he has used it on small quick projects with success.

I hear you on the space issues with these scale rigs. My interior was a PAIN.

The paint is looking FLASHY! I love the low buck aspect!

And Norm...I have a pic of that rig saved in one of my folders from a couple years ago. I never knew who built it. Now I know and saw more pics. Just plain sick! I was working on my interior to day and broke down a couple of times...with the thoughts of your detail work in my head! You really make it look too easy!

Can't wait to see this thing Clay.

Just pulled the engine cage from the oven. Very happy with it. Hope the chassis comes out this good.

Almost all together. Just need to figure out how to conceal the wires for the rear lights as best as possible and fab a couple small pieces that won't be seen but are necessary. Only a 1000mah 3s will fit also do it will have to do.

Just need some scale drinks for it. It's the proline unit just cut and shut. Haha

Thanks for all the compliments.

DAMN!!! The detail is incredible, the use of all the hex head hardware makes it very difficult to know whether you're looking at a R/C or a real buggy. Love it!

Would love too but it's been raining now for 2 days straight and I really want to get some time on it before the G6 in Hot Springs to see if I'm gonna run it or not.

Thanks man. I tried to use them as much as possible in the visible areas unless strength was critical. Mostly, length o the scale bolts limited the use. One of my favorite shots is the rear links showing the scale rod ends and such.
