That is the exact shot that really makes you wonder what your looking at!
The rear shot of the axle is pretty damn hard to tell to.

That turned out fantastic Clay, Nice job!
So proud of my son's work on getting that chassis put together for you!

He might just be more meticulous than I am!

Thanks again!

X2. It's really hard to tell it's RC and not 1:1.

Thats Very Tidy
You've done a Fantastic Job on this

Loving the Limiting Straps

If I had to pick holes in it, The Cable Ties holding the Rear Reservoirs are a Bit of a Cop out.
Some nice little metal straps would be more fitting for a Rig of this Kaliber.

Thank you very much. Cop out on the reservoir clamps, Damn right. Haha
They will probably get addressed in the near future but I have to get this ready to run so that I can hopefully run it at the upcoming G6 in Arkansas. I Want to machine the clamps also and there is just not time right now. Just had more important things to address first.

I can not take all the credit on this, and so many thanks have to go to the vendors who make builds like this possible.
Tyler(muddauberJr) from Dinky RC for the main chassis.
Norm with Team3six for the custom rear seat, front seats, limiting straps, extinguisher, and many texts and phone calls.
DH Fab for the scale optima batteries.
RC4wd for the shocks, tires, and scale hardware.
500swmag for the CLAW winch.
HEYOK for the winch controller and custom wired rear light kit.
Cory(stangkillass) with TSS for the wheels.
John(mthead) for the custom bead lock rings and scale assortment of accessories and badges.
Shawn(shooter125) for welding the axles up.
Steve with VP for all the axle beef upgrades and good conversation.
Patrick(lockeduprc) for scale hubs and synthetic winch line.
And builds from people like Warpig and Grizzly4x4 for the motivation to try and bring my A game.

This rig is one to remember for years to come. Nothing else I've seen out there for such a scale buggy. Glad to be apart of the list of vendors with this outstanding build.
Keep up the phenomenal work!!

I'm just waiting on a last couple pieces to come in on my next build. Maybe I'll let you get out of hand on the interior and scale accessories.

Test drive one. BOO!!
Lost a front scale lock out hub.
Rear suspension is really soft, needs adjusting.
The FXR is not programmed right or something cuz it won't hold on climbs worth a dang.
And the motor was really hot after a 1000mah 3s. Do I need to gear down.

Not sure yet. Today was the first time it was powered up and it needs to be tuned in. I'll let you know once I have some time on them.

Yeah, these were my old set and the length was already right for them. I'm in a bit of a time crunch if I want any chance of running this truck in Hot Springs.
I still have a new set here that I'm gonna have sewn up right. I'm currently rebuilding some rigs for Crawler InNovations for the G6 and may try and trade some labor for sewing. Want a nice stitch on them.

I know the spur is 87 and it looked like the pinion was somewhere between 18-20. It also has the high speed gears in diffs. I won't be able to drop the skid till this weekend to start changing things an get the FXR settings checked.

Ahhh like I said Clay. I dont know it all, but what I have learned is from some great teachers in Tim, Devlin, Chris, Dan, Luis, and John (a.k.a. SuperDave)
And many others I havent mentioned.
John Holmes is also great to chat with on things like this.
He is without a doubt very passionate about his motors and how to gear them for the right senario.

I think I'll probably be sending him a Pm after I leave Eddies tonight. Thinking about just swapping the whole system out for something brushless and efficient. Just want low maintenance, small ESC footprint, and good low end control. Those are the most critical requirements, other than that, I'm open to opinion/options.
Will be looking for some of the shock stuff we talked about tonight also.
Thanks again Norm.
