More updates before too long.
Haven't checked on this one in a while.

The O-rings go in the drive cup, where the dogbone of the axle shaft goes. That keeps the drive cup pushed into the locker.

If I remember right, I ran O-rings in both cups (at the diff and at the wheel axle) to keep the front dogbones in place.

Of course I never ran it, but it worked well while building.

I have ran about four 2200mah 3S packs on a 27turn with no issues so far.

Just heads up.. The servo to steering rack turnbuckle will pull apart when you beat on it.

I used a piece of 8/32 all thread and revo rod ends to fix the issue.

Mega awesome build! Siskel and Ebert give it two fingers up JK I've been wanting to use that for a minute. Really though I like the way you have done this from the centered custom rear 60 to all the strc goodies up front and the incorporation of both chassis's! Super cool that pro 4 will be squealing all 4 tires every time you shift gears wow

Thanks for the heads up. Probably will get titanium replacements from Crawler Innovations before too long.

Thanks. Just waiting on steel spur and pinion to get here to start reassembly. Planning on having it up and running soon to run at the USRCCA Scale Dash Run early next month.

Got in the remaining parts today and wired up the electronics to go for a test run. Whew! Tekin Pro4 Power! (even on a old EFlite 3S)

Cut a 5mm shim "disc" to take the play out of the top shaft in the trans.
This trans is solid, thanks to Crawler Innovations for the 5mm outputs, BWD for the motor plate and supershafty.com for the metal spur and top shaft.

Yep, one of a kind. Doesn't matter what's on the outside, it's what's on the inside that counts.

Thanks, that is what I say when i hammer down with that Pro4!

I knew the cheap aluminum locker (i know, I know) wouldn't last long up front in the Exo case. Lasted about 10 minutes. O-rings shimming the dog bones in to hold the drive cups is working just fine.
New locker upgrade will be next.

Couple pictures. Uploading some short videos. 3 wheel drive.

Added JeepInDoug spring retainers to the springs.

This rig is bad! I like the black alum from CFM! What size rear shock are you running?

Lookin' good. I might have to get some of those CFM panels for mine. Would help keep crap out of the electronics.

The new version closes off the entire front portion, Ultimate Front Inner fenders.

Mud digger has them on his Crawlmaro also. And just sent out several mor sets that will be popping up soon.
Lookin good Shane.

RCP Crawlers.
RCP*Crawlers*Stainless...

$17 each. Stainless steel so you add weight low in the rig. Each locker weighs 1.8oz (49g) compared to the stock locker/diff housing that weighs .6oz (17g). Replaces the locker and diff case. Ring gear bolts directly to the locker.

These are what I'm using in mine.

Yep, I just painted them up. I sent Clay at CFM a couple texts telling him what I wanted and he made some up pretty quick.
This truck is meant to run a body so I was just wanting front inner protection.
Installed the rear CFM panel tonight.

He can make just about anything and cheap too. I made an additional one on thelower driver side to keep stuff from flying into the spur gear. Not really a good place to mount a lower one on the passenger side. And I got lazy after one.

Thanks. Still debating body. Might run it semi-paneled for nationals.

I run the RCP's in my 2.2s rig. Weight down low where it's needed.
I bought the HR locker to replace this front. And ordered another RCP steel locker for backup.
I was going to have a buddy weld the RCP locker to the drivecup outputs but the bearing prohibited that on the diff gear side.

Quickly wired up some LED lights. I ran out of light buckets to no rear taillights, no rock lights and no "headlights" for now. Just running them into the Rx right now.
