If you want to do some custom panels I'll be glad to help out. I'll probably in hot springs for the G6, could bring done material and knock them out that weekend.

just went through this whole build so far and got me wondering

I'll remember that. I plan on going to the G6 as well if I don't completely destroy this rig at the Scale Dash at the USRCCA Nationals.

The wheel and tire mix would need to be lightened. The truck handles pretty good. The rear track width is a little narrower than the front so it can get a little tipsy every now and then. Some sway bars could help.
I plan on running this at the G6 in Hot Springs Terra Race, so we'll see.

Go ahead, you'll just need about $1000, wraith and exo donors and some fab time.

And a how-to guide.

You can get complete Exo kits for $180 shipped from Tower. Makes this conversion MUCH cheaper.

Your thread is the How-to-Guide. I just printed out some of your pictures and got the dremel out.

I paid $280 for my Exo kit with coupons from Amainhobbies. Luckily, I was able to trade off the non usable parts to Eddie at Crawler Innovations for nice build parts.

Made a quick battery panel and hood. Really just for protection right now.

Not sure of the direction of this rig yet. Panels, bronco body, I dunno.

Really short clip showing the low end of the Tekin 3300 Pro4 and Mamba Max Pro. A little quicker paced video is uploading.
I also picked up 3300mah 40C and a 5000mah 30C lipos. Fit on the CrawlerInnovation's electronic plate and under my battery panel just fine.

And a front bumper,

Tired of looking at my less than 2 minutes each panels?
The battery panel is bent up to fit the larger 5000mah lipo.
Like I said these are just for protection for the scale dash at LRC this Friday.

Nothing wrong with them. I just want a go at one of these hybrid chassis. Need a challenge.
Give em hell in Alabama Shane.

Shane no longer owned this. I saw it at nationals and had to have it. Very clean and some nice parts on it. I think I will enjoy the hell out of it. Thanks Shane for selling it to me. hopefully you did better than me on the 2.2p, today. 3 wheeling it from a stripped front rc4wd locker brings the suck. Oh well had fun trying.

Should be a fun rig for ya.

Welp, as irokcrawl stated, this rig did not make it back to Arkansas. Zach offered to buy this rig Thursday night at Nationals and I couldn't refuse.

It was definitley a fun build.

One last picture that Sven took while I was still the owner.

On to the next one....

I had a blast with it after I finished the last course on Sat, going through the rough stuff was so smooth and I think a little set of center bumps in the rear and I will be done with it. Is is a killer rig and is completely different than pretty much 99.9% of the people I will see that have a Wraith or Exo Just got to get the rear end gear replaced and then to cable hill at Grayrock it goes I will stick the Contour in there for some killer video.

Don't show it to me. I might be forced to buy it before you can drive it more than a few months

Might be a little bit on another build. The 2.2 pro rig is getting overhauled. And the next basher may be bought built! Oooohh Noooo!

Thanks. It was fun to build. Still had some ideas for it but oh well.

Nope. I smoked the rear ring gear parking lot surfing and I was helping run the 2.2s class that day, so I ran out of time too.
Did get to run a 3300 pack doing some highspeed dirt bashing before tearing up the gear. Should have shimmed it better.
