Willy is almost ready for action. All i've got to do now is finish his eye's and even out the grease stains and soot on his face and overall so he can crawl back behind the steering wheel doing what he does best. Besides a few minor details his ride is ready to terrorize the neighborhood again. Last edited by 4wd4ws; 10-11-2012 at 11:52 AM. |

Installed the indicators. Fluor orange to heighten the 80's feeling. |

The switches that control the rocklights are out of harms way,not visible and easy to reach. |

Came here to possibly get a better see at what you were talking about on how to mount the Willy into the wraith. This thing is sweet man! Great work on it.

| Re: Wild Willy 3 M3 = metric 3 millimeter. Yes,essential. It's what keeps the head on the body. Ofcourse you can glue the head on but you won't be able to remove it anymore. You'll understand when you look at the two head halves. |

@ chcrawler. I butchered a ''psychedelic UFO party bowl'' for the lightkit. Desolder the LED's,add a piece of wire, resolder everything and you're done. I switched the orange LED for a red one. |

| Re: Wild Willy 3 Hi What are those pads or squares that are on the bottom of your front body posts for the hood ? Also what did you make your battery tray out of ? Sweet build Thanks Scott Last edited by baddley; 11-04-2012 at 07:08 PM. |

| Re: Wild Willy 3 Thanks,man. Quote:
The pads are pieces of 2 mm thick rubber with a hole punched in them. They slide over the posts. They protect the paint on the inside and prevent the hood from rattling.I hate squeeks and rattling noises on cars. The battery tray is made out of 1 mm thick aluminum.Painted flat black and covered with a layer of 2 mm thick high-density foam to protect the battery. | |
