Clean it has been bashed on the rocks a little but I would not say it is brand new anymore. Thanks for the comment though.

Yeah the box in the back is perfect for the AE-2 ESC, Futaba Rx & CC BEC. I hope it doesn't get too hot back in there. I might have to pop the top. The box was a grey color so I painted it with Krylon fusion black. I did not paint the inside so it would look funky.

Yes the c-hubs and knuckles are VP and the Bead locks are from the XR10 so they match pretty close. In pics they look very close.

I'm a real freak about my trucks while I'm building them. Going to be starting my Wraith this weekend now that all my parts are in.

Question - are those the orange knuckles and chubs from Vanquish? If so, are those the orange beadlock rings from Axial? Those are the same wheels I have and I'm debating whether to get the orange beadlocks from Axial to match my orange Vanquish Stage I Kit. Worried they won't match.

Thanks!

Fink

Loving the bigger lights in the body. Gonna have to do that. How did you attach them to the body?

Also, are those Dubro hinges for the hood? I bought some for my rubi body and was wondering how you attached them.

Yes they are the Dubro hinges...shoe goo is your friend!! I used it on the hinges and the light buckets on the grill. I only used a small amount of shoe goo to hold the headlights then applied clear silicone around them. I think they are in tight enough. If they fall out it will be from a very hard crash!!

You have to cut the one piece into three for this to work. I messed up on my first try and Dynamic Concepts was nice enough to send me a grill and hood to try again.

Thanks! I will do that. How much does the front bumper block the head lights?

Not much at all!! I think it throws really good light even with the bumper. It looks totally awesome!! Best mod for the Rubi Body!! Notice I swapped the big and small light around. It seems pretty cool to me! I am happy with the look.

They are in the Wraith Kits. I was actually surpised to see them and they work great. You get two different round buckets I think and the plastic nuts for them and the clear lenses. I just fluked out and put it all together. There were no instructions on what went where because they are meant for some other Axial rig I guess. Like most RC companies they use generic parts trees.

Nice light mods...

Providing features to make stock light installation easier is one thing I am definitely looking into.

Thanks for the comment, yeah it was tricky to do the front lights because I had to leave out some cage pieces for the fat buckets to fit. I think it turned out decent. The tail lights went way easier. I was thinking if you offered a smooth back piece a guy could mount any LED bucket they wanted.

I am very happy with the way it all turned out and you also helped too with the extra front grill and hood pieces you sent gratis!! I just need some Jeep decals. Well I might have some in the mail from a member on here so we will see how they look when I get them.

Here is an update! I added R2j 1/4" stainless steel links today! Awesome fit and I will show the comparison to VP Ti that I have on my TMA Service Dogs Speed Wraith.

Oilcanman's Rubi-Wraith on the left and my TMA Service Dog Speed Wraith with VP Ti 1/4" links on the right in the photo below.
