I'm going to build the kit up stock, then begin to modify it to meet my Class 3 needs!

Couple o questions. Does the kit come with the stickier compound of Ripsaws? or are they the same as the rtr version? I see them in the picture of extra goodies so I am assuming you just got an extra set of the better compound. And if they are the basic harder compound, are they not mounted to the wheels (do they come unglued)?

I also see some aluminum links in the extra goodies pic. I was thinking the kit would come with them. Are the kit versions aluminum and you just got a different size for wheelbase adjustment?

And cool on you for getting the kit already. You will have it worn out before most people can get one

Look at the axial press release. The kit comes with the stickier rip saws, aluminum lower links (still plastic uppers), Universals, softer shock springs and clear body panels. Thats the lions share of the upgrades. Kudos to axial for making a kit with almost all the right stuff.

The Kit includes the R35 Sticky compound Ripsaws, and they are not glued to the wheels. GREAT tire, I've run them on Hera and was impressed.

The Kit also includes aluminum lower links, but plastic uppers.

Thanks!

Thanks Ryan now the wait for it to be available to us normal folk I may just pick up a RTR with my work bonus tomorrow. Have been waiting for the cash for it for a while. Pets going to the vet, vehicle repairs etc suck. I am way in the clear right now and my Bday is in a few weeks so I can justify it to myself, lol.

Yes, for maintenance, but the chassis is bent, and it has a buyer, so I'm fixing it to sell. This is the tranny a motor from her. I figured since Axial set me up with the Wraith, I should run it as my class 3. Team player. ;)

Did I spy a rear steer set up too?
Is the new tranny too large for the interior to fit?
Inquiring minds want to know.

You can see that the summit tranny sits up alot higher, the stock tranny setup is a tight fit as it is.

I like how there is alot more weight forward with the tranny and motor.

Yup, rear steer!

I was going to do the Summit tranny, but I decided to keep the truck light. Summit tranny would mean 2 batteries and the huge motor, which is so much weight. I'm going stock tranny for now with the 13.5, and maybe a Tekin Pro4 if I need more poop. I was going to use a lexan 2d interior over the Summit tranny.

Here are some current pics:

I'm really diggin these spare tire builds. I see you took the battery and put it up front, leaving the room in the back. Can the tire fit back there at any different angles? Tilt it back more maybe?
