Alright im a Jeeper for life and my buddies have been giving me crap about making my Wraith a Jeep.. so here goes! shoulda done a more step by step on the body. I went with the Dynamic Concept Jk body.. There is a lot of fitting and sanding prep for this kit.but i happy with the results so far.. having had it out yet... just finised the painting yesterday!

after trimming, sanding, fitting and drilling for two days, the body was on. The body had flares but they hit at full flex so the had to go!!

so i did all the prep work for painting ..sprayed the under side of the hood and windshield with lexan black paint and the sprayed the grille with a satin rustoleum black

so i went with my original OD green

testing out the light fitment

now i didnt show the side panel\grille\rear gluing process.. to each their own with this process but i needed the hood to open for battery access. Will probably buy the body again just to redo the hood section.. messed up on the hole sizes for the shocks and i slipped with the dremel on one side.. Damn you OCD!!! Found the hinges at a local hardware store.

OPEN.. ripped on of my LEDs trying to fit it into the headlight bucket

the rear Led were a bit of a prblem.. where i mounted the rear panels the axial light buckets hit the frame badly... so i ground them down until you almost could get the lenses back in place.. but they work now..snug

Got the lights working Kinda

ended up using a differnet "camo" green that came out really light..not to sure about it

still have to put some foam under the panels to close the hood and fender gap

heres a shot of the aluminium roof\LED bar guard and the LED bar

.. hopefully i wll get some time to make the bumper tonight... AND THATS MY UPDATE !

aright here are some of the pics of the "JEEP GLASSES" bumper

still gotta cut away the old upper mounts for the bumper support..but thats alot of tear down to get at them for a good clean cut. now to mount up the winch, wire it up and finish with the lights

I would leave the fender tubes green. And go black on everything else.

I really like the progression over time of your build thread. A lot like mine, you can't leave well enough alone either! I really dig the bronco body and your final jeep body but I think your stinger and glasses looked better green. Either way you have got a really nice Wraith and I look forward to your future updates

I am probably going with the black hood hoop and will continue with the exo cage around the out side with the help of Broncoguy85..to remove the appearance of "glasses" but will paint it all green to match the body ..then i can trim the fenders alittle higher ! Thanks for the positive feed back!

so i had to make the lights detachable for when i remove the body since the light buckets are glued in place

i chopped off the original upper bumper supports

and After seeing Broncoguy85, cut away his door bars i had to do the same!!

MUCH BETTER!

Okay im FINALLY finshed with the new Jk body install... here is my finished product.. Hope ya'll like it!

gonna work on the rear EXO cage after a couple of test drives. The old fenders, once removed left the rear with a curved wheel well so i cut it straight and will follow the new line with the Exo cage

Tail lights

Headlights and LED bar

The Winch and front light mounts

Hope this is a strong mount..if not i will make the mount outta steel if i have too

couple more of the body

Next set of pics will be some trail shots!!!
