Here is one Axial Wraith Aluminum Transmission Case for Black TopCad 23022 If you are not planning to use DIG, how about AX-10 transcase (ie VP), and there would be beefy outputs available also. |

hmmmm... thanks for the replies guys, appreciated! however...i seen the VP ax10 transcase, but dont want that one in case i do have the urge to get DIG (or) who knows....maybe rc4wd will offer parts from the 2spd, thjen i can get all the internals to build one??? doubt it but who knows?? as for hotracing....my lhs wont deal with them for a few reasons, so im SOL on that one. :( bah.....maybe ill just fork out the 200.00 for the 2spd? |

Do you want a new transmission just to get an aluminum or are you having issues with the plastic one? My guess is none of the options listed above will be something your LHS will get or deal with. I had asked mine one time for just Axial universals and they wanted $60 for the pair (where they retail for around $35). |

I put the Topcad in mine with their gearset and changed the spur & pinion to 32 pitch, quality and fit were good. Seems to be real strong so far, running 12 turn on 3 cell.

It's always fun to upgrade, that's why we're into this hobby. I tend to wait until I break it, or upgrade to something that I know will cause it to break |

| Re: alloy transcase? I highly suggest the 2sp, you'll get your metal case, it has very strong internal gears, and having 2 speeds is more fun than a dig! Order it from someplace like RPPHobby that will ship USPS so save $$$. Or to help with shipping costs do a group buy.
