Default Wraith rtr esc problem?

So i picked up a used rtr wraith and the guy i got it from ran lipos. Everything worked fine. I run nimh as of right now. Gonna switch to lipos when money allows. With the nimh it acts like the low voltage cut off is on in the esc. So i went to reprogram the esc to set it to no low voltage cut off. Well Im either doing it wrong or there is a problem with the esc. The first setting in the sequence is for the voltage cut off and the first option is for none and second is for lipo correct?

To make things really easy I'd invest in the Castle Link if you plan on running their electronics, BEC's or ESC's

I will be getting the castlelink soon. But I should still be able to access the programming via the controller correct.

You can program it using the esc yes. Not sure what the order is though.

So I picked up the castle link and plugged it all in and checked the program. I first set it manually. It is as it should be with the voltage cut off set to none. Hooked it all back up and tried it same thing, acts like it has he low voltage cutoff still set. So I removed the esc and checked battery connections and the motor connections. Everything is good there. Although I don't care for the bullet connectors for the motor. Removed all the lighting stuff and changed receiver. Still same result. So either the motor or the esc is bad I'm guessing. Anybody have a similar issue. I also noticed it would brown out once in awhile before I changed anything. Also the esc would start doing weird things. I tried three known good batteries and it would still do it.

I have manualy reprogramed the esc a number of times to mak sure the lipo cutoff is off. But when I run the wraith with a 4200mah nimh stick pack fully charged it will just cut the power when I throttle hard, throttle and stear at the same timeor do anything that would require a decent amount of power. So its just acts like there is still a low voltage cutoff in place. Its frustraiting as I juat wanna drive this thing as I only juat picked it up today.

Put a CC BEC on it. If I remember right I've read about people having problems with the bec in a lot of wraiths lately.

Op you say you got a used rtr one. So what servo is on it? If its stronger than the stock one you need a cc bec.
