steering question

Thsi may have been asked before but I can not find the answer,

Looks to be 3 ways to set up steering:
1 As std on the axel.
2 moved to the chassis.
3 Direct to each wheel for the servo.

Which is best and why and any examples I can steel with glee?:ror:

Thank you SteveJ

Re: steering question

The suicide steering set up absolutely sucks. The axle mounted servo or a CMS is the best. But for the CMS you will also need to buy the 3 link kit to eliminate the bump steer it's going to cause. There is no real performance gain from a CMS just a more scale look.

Suicide steering is great. Been happy with mine and NO issues.

you've got to be the first person I've ever heard say that. It is by far the worst steering design made for the wraith. The geometry and angles are totally different from 1 side to the other. It will never work properly with 2 different length drag links.

Hmmmm......heard that from others too, still haven't had anyone prove it is bad. I use mine for crawling and trail running and it still performs as well as the other trucks.
