Default Should I put this in my wraith?

I want more power and can't afford a pro 4 at the moment. I'm tired of my exo which is running a Novak ballistic 4.5 turn 550 sensored motor.

Spare me your thoughts on Novak products please.

It has really good low end, no clogging whatsoever and obviously plenty of power.

Yay or nay?

It is. Robinson internals, MIPs.... If anything is gonna break, it'll be my axles. I'm building for TTC next year (we don't all have the time to slap together amazing rigs in a matter of weeks like some of the talented fabricators on this board ;)).

I say go for it, I put a pro 4 in mine this weekend with a rc4wd 2 Spd trans and it is awesome for crawling in low and stupid fast in high. The pro4 is awesome! So give the Novak a try, watch your temps, have fun and if it doesn't work, well at least you gave it a whirl

I run that motor in my Wraith. Works great, tons of torque and very fast. I run 15/56 and I just went down to 12/56 to slow it down a bit. You will need to trim the rear link area a bit as the motor it long.

I geared down to 12/56 and my motor actually got warmer. I think it was undergeared.

Why not, it's free to try....you already have the motor/esc.

I say run it, but like Hi-Intentionz said if you haven't replaced the stock locker setup, that's probably something you should look at.

I had that motor in my Wraith for about 5 minutes. Got in a moderate bind, tried to power out of it and blew the front universals apart. Was fun while it lasted!!! My uni's may have already been on the way out, but this finished them off for sure!! Didn't want to chance it again, so I took it back out.
