Default Slow Grind

Another stock RTR. I know I know, but I had to show it off.

All I've done so far is move the tailights, flip the lower shock mounts and clean up the wiring some. Got a 87/14 spur/pinion set ordered. Steering linkage, TSL's and beadlocks are next.

Installed 87/14 spur and pinion. Made a huge difference in the crawling.

Cleaned up and rebuilt the shocks with fresh 30w. This is mandatory on these RTR rigs, IMO. Loose caps, low oil, rough flashing everywhere. They were a mess.

Ordered Chaotic Crawlers 4 bend steering linkage, re-machined Mayhem Monster beadlocks, TSL's and a Deans plug to replace the Tamiya.

Will post updated pics when the wheels and tires show up. It's a slow build by this forum's standards but I'm having fun with it.

A few more changes.

Got rid of that d##N tamiya connector and installed CC bec.

Carter Fab skins and factory hood painted flat sand. Hood cut for lowering kit.

ARB diff covers and Chaotic Crawlers 4-bend steering.

Gens Ace 5000mah 2s 40c

Rear deck cover.

Nitrous

Got a set of TSL's setting here waiting on my remachined Mayhem's.
Next major mod is gonna be a high-torque servo.

Yea, it's setting on the dryer, it rained here most of the day..

Couple more. I cut it out of a old pistol case I had laying around hence the pimp pattern.
Still debating on putting a screw or two along the rear edge. It fits so tight against the cage that I don't think it's necessary.

That's all bashing. I haven't done anything to them as far as shaving.

New shoes.

The new grip smoked the factory servo. Ordered a new Hitec and aluminum arm.
At this point I'm kinda wishing I had started with a kit.

Default Droops

Nice color, and build!
Who makes your droop/lowering kit. I like it better than the level-3 that I just got. They fit and work great but way to big.
