I'm McLovin this thread lately, been thinking about building a 1.9 Wraith for awhile. I have spare axles, tranny, lots of links, tires, just need wheels Wraith cage and a few bits. Lots of great looking 1.9s in here and love all the trail pics! |

EDIT: Love this green one, what's the wheelbase on it? The blue F150 bodied truck, what is it? Last edited by Natedog; 05-22-2014 at 07:01 PM.

All these 1.9's are taking over my attention span. Really considering swapping over to it as well, the scale look is amazing with these. Djjiz! I blame you for this. (Why? Because it's convenient. ) So aside from the SCX10 plastic axles for a scale swap, what are the other options? |

The blue oval is a local drivers modded Blackfoot bodied, dingo wheelbase SCX. It was his first run without some pivotal mods and it did great. Some weight in the wheels and tuning will grant this thing goat hooves. Can't wait to see more of it but some short vid clips of it will be available soon.

I love seeing these over the normal 2.2s, when I built mine it was the vq metal housing they were great I ended up at first using 1.9 revolver rims for weight then added 3.3 stiff buggy foam and two wraps of stick on weights with my pitbulls with all forward weight it got close to 20 pounds made the low clearence and big belly a joke front tires always hook and pull and brings me bal why I love these 1.9 more the challenge to plant your tires

| I've seen a few with RC4WD T-Rex axles, but have also heard they have problems. Also there's the TLT's....I really wanted to use a set of OG Bruiser axles, but reliability is an issue there as well. In the end, SCX's were an easy choice.

TLT's would be really narrow. Lots of clearance issues there - it's pretty tight as-is with SCX axles. Next one of mine is getting Wheely kings, got a set sitting under the cage and they look perfect.

I have to say, my 1.9 wraith is probably the coolest thing Ive ever built. Its not super fancy, but it performs and looks awesome! |

I think with tlt axles you would have to be really picky on wheel offsets and at least run wider hexes like the grey traxxas. But I already run those on mine with scx-10 axles to cut down on body rub.

Yup, already run those on my SCX's too. Rear is ok, but it's really close with the front shocks.
