Me either! Battling a fierce cold right now so have been pretty out of it. Lockers should be in tonight and then I'll be all set to start building.

Thanks for the post!

Finally!!!!

I stuck with the stock ring gear location so the diff covers are flipped.

This color combo is sexy as hell. Can't wait to get the 1/4" links tomorrow and get it under the truck!

Why don't you just flip the ring gear over, easy to do now that you have it like this still. It would look cooler but I guess it is not up to me.

I am jealous of those axle housings!! I want mine in black if I ever upgrade. It is crazy money man!!

If he flips the ring gear over he will have to flip the other one too causing the same effect on the other axle.

I'd rather keep the ring gear in the stock position and not have to worry about flipping electronics.

The only reason diff covers have to upside down is because one side is slanted. Most are just bubbled out so it doesn't matter.

I love these things. Serious pieces of art.

Still not hard!! Oh well!! Live with it upside down

I have the same diff covers only black. I built my Wraith according to the manual and of course it was backwards so mine were upside down....flipping was not hard and has no affect on the diffs.....just need to flip both. Easy to do but that is my OCD...lol

Red on Black are my company colors, MADSKINZ baby....!
I threw a touch of silver vp axles to offset the cold hard truth...I luv a Wraith.
I have 4 currently and built roughly 8. Probably had 15 all together. Just picked up 3 more the other day...
I even built the first Wraith Tow Truck for my kid for Axialfest 2012.
I might even have a slight addiction here. Sh$t, I better seek help at "AA" (Axial Anonymous)...
Til next time..Nice build thou Wraith Brotha..!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, nice bro, just tore mine down last night actually and im starting to rebuild. Just want to go a different route. Your build has almost sold me on some Vanquish axle housings those look like works of art. Vanqusihs stuff always looks good online and even better in your hands.

Agreed. I do like the Vanquish red. This orange color is just plain addicting though. Thinking about getting some of the BGR swag I bought anodized to match. Haven't decided yet, though.

See, my OCD makes me go off what Axial had in it to begin with. My OCD also wouldn't like having to flip the polarity on my motor.

The red and black does look good. My buddy (AsILayDying) just put black VP housings and a red VP Stage I kit on his Wraith. Looks killer. I just can't get over how good this silver and orange looks.

Orange beadlocks are in my shopping cart on AMain as we speak, actually.

Thanks for posting up man! Keep checking back for the final product!

Thanks man! Pictures just don't these things justice. I have a complete stock axle from the RTR and a complete axle from VP and you can just feel the difference. Incredible.

Thanks to all the guys at Vanquish Products!!

Having your diff cover upside down is offensive as hanging your American flag upside down. Don't say it's OCD. It's called LAZY.

Trust me - it's most certainly not laziness. I had the gears out anyway, I knowingly did it this way.

If it bothers you guys that much I'll be happy to take donations for different diff covers. Just have to be aluminum.
