Thanks Mark! Yes, now yours is the full time chassis on the block, and I will be starting the 4th one too. |

| Re: Zuki_dan's Steel wraith chassis by ScaleReady Thank you! I don't think they are too terrible of a price, considering what goes into them Quote:
Thank you Dan! Sorry about the delay in this build, too. It will be shipped out first thing this week | |

Phil, the chassis looks amazing! I can't wait to see it in person, I am sure it will look even better than what the pictures can show. Now I have to decide what color to paint the chassis. It looks awesome in just primer.

| Re: Zuki_dan's Steel wraith chassis by ScaleReady I am glad he didn't let you steal it. I am anxious waiting to get this thing. I am sure the pictures just won't do it justice. I am still up in the air about what color to paint the chassis. I told Phil not to paint it black because I wanted to show the chassis off and not let it blend in like the plastic wraith chassis.

| Re: Zuki_dan's Steel wraith chassis by ScaleReady I have an official weight on this bare chassis. It weighs in at 2.2lbs This, of course is give or take depending on your options. |

I received my chassis from Phil yesterday. All I can say is the pictures don't do his work justice. Here are some pics of it fresh out of the box. |

Here are some progress pics of mockup today. Fitting the shooter fab hood to the chassis. Had to do away with the hinge idea because of the way the cowl hood would interfere with the windshield bars. Now the back outer edges of the hood hook under the windshield crossbar. The hood is held down with traxxas battery post pins. |

I decided to keep using the 3racing winch I had been using. I just recently went to running it from the 3S lipo and controlling it with a Tekin B1R w/ current limiter set way down. Once I switched to 3S and B1R it would winch my wraith straight vertical and keep pulling. I have a hitec 645mg servo winch on stand by. With fake winch for the front. Here are the pics from mounting the winch. Fairlead and winch plate set in place. It is amazing the angles on the edge of the plate match the angle of the stinger. |

Pics of rear floor installed. Started out as a CFM rear floor. Had to do a little trimming and fitting to get it to fit down between the chassis rails and sitting flat on the cross braces. I had a Radio shack project box on the last wraith and decided to try this Dinky RC fuel cell. I messed the top of it up and had to glue a piece of lexan over the damaged area. I will put some more work into it. If it doesn't look right I will order another tank. Some proline scale accessories mounted in the bed. Axial Exo radiator and fans mounted on the shock towers. |

RX8 ESC & battery mounted in the electronics tray I made. You can also see the Exo light bar mounted to the cage. Moving the ESC to the corner next to the battery left room in between the shocks to mount a servo winch if I end up going that direction. Close up of how I mounted the light bar. I thought about making some bracket/washers for the mounting screws through the cage but this is pretty low profile and with the top mounts doesn't seem like it will move. |

Inside the dinky fuel cell. There is a lot more room in this think the the radio shack project box I was using. I managed to mount the 6 channel receiver, Castle 10 amp BEC that powers the steering, and the B1R that I use for winch control. Front CFM ultimate inner fenders installed. |

The rest of the CFM panels installed. The only thing I haven't test fit is the interior and I still have to install the leds for the head lights and decide where to mount the tail lights. Time to tear it down and get some paint on this awesome chassis. |
