Made more progress with my Wraith. All of the Mad Dog RC lights are wired and functioning as should on 3 separate switches - one for rock lights, one for the double light bar, and one for the front light bar.

I cut out my extra set of body panels and installed my Krawler Konceptz inside metallic skins too. They're tricky to install, I spent over an hour in them but I still have a few air bubbles. The metallic looks great in the light though. Ill get more pics shortly once I mount them in the Wraith.

Here's a few more iPhone pics. Working nights kills daylight time for proper photos so these will have to do for a couple more days.

I had a neat, small cooling fan in the lot of crawler parts I bought with the Honcho so I decided to put it to use on the Wraith. The ESC gets a little warm under the hood with the rest of the electronics so to circulate some air I mounted it up front - blowing cool air across the heat sink and over everything else that's packed in up front. Seems to work well so far.

Did a quick test run, I might have to cut the foam in the tires. I think they might be a little on the stiff side for crawling. I love the King Socks though, tons of flex.

I braved the cold and did about 30 minutes worth of crawling today with a buddy of mine. I still need to get better photos before it gets too scuffed up.

Definitely! Very good tire. I'd like to try the boggers at some point too.

Here are some new shots outside now that the snow is finally gone in the lower elevations...for now.

I'll get some better shots on some actual rocks soon and probably make a short video; here is one I made of my buddies Honcho:

[QUOTE=KillerBlackbird;4045087]UPS showed up today with my RC4WD goodies.

2.2 Irok Super Swamper tires in X2SS compound and the scale King Off-Road Shocks. Tires are super sticky and should do quite well. Im surprised how soft the King shocks are, I thought they would be very stiff. I think they'll work out well. I wish they had a locking collar like 1:1 coilovers do to keep the upper spring perch from spinning and throwing the set ride height off but it will probably be ok.

I've been using my iPhone to take photos of the build up because I am too lazy to get my DSLR out lol. One of my other "hobbies" is photography. So here are a few of the tires and shocks with slightly better image quality:

What is the length of the King Off-Road shocks?
