| Bronco Wraith
Being more into and having scx10's and a TF2 I've always had one eye on building a wraith. Once Proline released the bronco shell I really wanted one, so finally got round to picking one up yesterday in kit form. It's not going to be a high speed basher but a slower rock scaling low slung beast. I've done some upgrades during the build including RC4WD chassis servo mount, RC4WD steering link, RC4WD 2.2 white steel wheels with Baja Claws. It's got the poison spyder pumpkin covers. It's got a hitec waterproof servo, m'tronics waterproof crawler esc and a 35t motor to try (for speed). I'm building my sons CC01 broncos currently so have copied one of the paint jobs across to the wraith bronco. One mod I've done is fit upside down the axle shock mounts to drop the chassis a bit. Anyway here's where I'm at on Day 2. |

Cheers guys, the whole wraith thing has totally grown on me lol. The basic stock interior is in and done, drivers in the post. The rear interior is next once I've got a plan. Chopped the roof panel in half so it doesn't look like an estate, grills painted and then I've done a basic decal layout. ESC and receiver should arrive early this week so can get it up and running and tested. |

Cheers guys, mostly waiting on the postman now for bits to finish this. I did manage to pick up some pr-line power stroke shocks half price on eBay and the seller hand delivered them (result). So that's an unexpected upgrade done and dusted. |

In throws of getting a custom bumper made with winch mount as this going to be a comp truck. |

First post! I'll use it to congratulate you on a sweet build. I've been out of RC since my childhood so since '86 and thinking I'm going to get back in to the hobby with a Wraith kit. Love the Bronco body. Nice job on the paint. |

Man - that masked drivers face gives me the creeps. Makes me think of the gimp or something like that. Where did you get that figure as it fits really well in the seat & has very movable features ?? |

Its a neca borderlands psycho bandit lol. Picked it up on ebay. Battery is going to in stock location, a 6000mah facing down with the plugs passing straight up into it, meaning a deans isn't needed. The esc and rx are again in the stock location, already have the servo chassis mounted. I'm having a steel front bumper made which will have an RC4WD winch fitted. This will have its own 1200mah lipo somewere under the front. Am hoping with all that it actually ends up being quite balanced. I'm putting a sound system in too (music). I picked an ipod shuffle today and just need to get a cheep portable music thing I can destroy to get the speakers from. These music things are all usb charged so will keep topped up via a bec which is 5v same as usb Then its gonna be pumping out MUSE with UNSUSTAINABLE |

Thanks for all the ++ feedback guys, appreciated!! Right trying to get all my cars finished enough to run this Saturday at a group scale outing. So tonight got the wiring all back to stock/normal and its performing great. Have left the unused BEC in so it can power the mp3 music system when it goes in. Cut a slice of foam to cover up the rear battery/bed so it looks tidy. Got hex's coming tomorrow so that'll be that. Tada |

That rig looks awesome! I was checking out this thread because I have been contemplating hacking up an old Broncos body that was on my SCX. It won't look as sharp as yours by any means, but it'll look OK. Nice work, man!!
