1: click "Search" 2: click "advanced search" 3: select "search titles only" in drop down menu below "keyword" field 4: type "CMS" or "panhard" or any variation 5: find many threads on this very subject 6: read them |

I have the Vanquish CMS and panhard on my Wraith. I did it for looks as I hear thats all it really benefits, just a visual mod. I've heard others saying the steering servo has to work harder with a CMS too.

Im running a Vanquish CMS with Panhard setup in my Wraith. Looks great but as far as performance Im not seeing any improvements as of yet. I feel like as long as the panhard bar stays parallel with the drag link it will work pretty well. Here is a pic of my setup. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note (Phablet) |

I did two Wraiths with and left one without the VP CMS and Panhard combo. The ones I did I like the looks of. It looks more realistic to me especially on the Rubi body Wraith I did for my step father. (Oilcanman)

I run a panhard and cms on a rig I use in water a lot. The only benefit I can see is keeping the servo out of the water.

Its merely for the looks and the -5. A front axle looks alot better with a cms than with a mini fridge strapped to the top of the axle imo. |

Practically speaking, it causes some "undesirable" steering and suspension characteristics. In reality, it is not noticeable. Since the RC car is relatively small and there is no one actually driving it to feel it, it's really not a big deal. If it were a 1:1 (with the same geometry of the Wraith CMS/Suspension), it would be very noticeable. But it does make the axle look better. I don't buy the "scale" argument since most Ultra 4 cars have axle mounted steering (hydrolic) anyway. I'm building my new car with a CMS. |

I like the 4 link and I like the servo on the axle.. My Wraith is all about performance... Nothing is as solid and precise as the steering all taking place on the axle itself.. Not to mention how badass the heatsink looks on my Hitec 7950. |

| Re: poll of panhards thats why i got the CMS to start...i wanted my hitec moster torque to look like a half ass motor..kinda..and i didnt want my new expencive servo taken a beatn and the first to get dunked...tit for tat i guess
