12 vent holes in each wheel 6 1/4" and 6 1/8" should help keep the rebound bounces down.

steering setup complete this is the rear but the front is the same but with a 7950 servo.

got all my wheels finished

and got my front axle built and some temporary upper links made (need to order some from vanquish) they are the exact same length as the lowers.

i spent all my time building wheels, tires, my front axle, and everything so ill get to the shock and electronic mounts tomorrow. but i do have them all measured out and ready to bend up.

Coming along nicely.
I will be making my own copy of this chassis based on Rootar's templates. Can't wait!

Lookin VERY good.

This gives me ideas about building something like this. I have a set of tires on the shelf that I want to do something.

I just wish the Wraith axles had a centered pumpkin. That would make things much easier.

Clay with Carter Fab and Machine can help you with that.

got my shock mounts done this afternoon and i even added some more adjustments.

soon as i get the electronics all mounted and the cab framed up the ride height should be perfect. i do know for sure i need lighter shock oil. springs might change after i drive it.

now i just need to decide on where the final trimming and height at which i mount the body so that i can start on the cab.

Nice long wheel base... Curious about torque twist, have any plans for sway bars? The stiffer springs might help that if there is any. Also something I have seen with 4ws successful is to Minimize the steering throw like this: (otherwise 4ws gets crazy)

Great job- excited to see innovative builds using these axles I have high hopes . I saw that rc4wd has an aluminum Axle case that centers up the pumpkin.

thanks for the compliments guys, I dont see the need for a centered axle the OCP with the servo/link setup like mine or dinkys really lets everything fall perfectly into place.

Kevin i can hook ya up with some tube its special order.

Forgot to say it will have wraith style sway bar arms so they'll look scale to the real thing.

This is looking awesome...great work on the tube chassis..I love how the shocks mount. The stance is nice and low too should have no problems cornering...a few guys on rcmt.net inspired me to do my build and Im glad I inspired you guys a lil too...hope more builds pop up soon
