Had to have a stinger to proteck the battery. That's 5000mah and can slide back about an inch

That looks better but I am going to be an armchair quarterback for a minute.

The battery is still going to be unprotected during a rollover with a rock if it has a point to it. What about putting a x or * pattern on the bars above it to help protect it. Then maybe could still slide in and out from the front of the stinger maybe? I don't know would need a top angle pic to see better.

Scrapped the frame build. Back to my wraith frame. I will build something later, thinking a 650 truggy or something similar

Made a few adjustments. Have a 5000 may 2s under the hood and am fitting my boggers with the foams that vme with the r35 ripsaws already thinking there to soft

Did a little crawling on my lowest ride height ever. Shocks about 70% compressed and sitting slightly lower then level links. Seems to work very well.

Also man I want decent foams since mods start at the ground u I finally decided to ;order a set of 6.0 dual stage ci foams in medium and soft.

Those are rc4wd stock blogger foams all wadfed up after a few minutes of knarely crawling

Pretty excited to get ci 6.0s

My front end has been getting sloppy and I have a ton of these busings so I threw them in and shimmed the axles. Man way tighter steering and my tires aren't leaning in.

These are the same bushings as the pinions

Crawler innovations 6.0 foam on the left vs rc4wd on the right.

The side wall on the rc4wd is folding over just sitting there.

I'm gonna run mediums in the front and soft out back. Back words from what mist run. I may end up switching them around

A quick video with the 6.0 foams doesn't show much but I'll post it anyways

I was liking the tube build. The new foams look a lot better for the sidehills. Nice redesign on the bumper. It looks very well built and like you took your time on it. Oh and my stinger is much BIGGER!!!

My boggers are on they're last leg so I decided to more or less turn them into a badlands type tread.

Also did a little running and I think I need a bottom bare on the bumper. For some servo protection

Just brought home a 1/4 scale 300. So I'll probly be giving the wraith a little less loving for awhile

These knuckles took some work to bolt on with axial bead locks

I'm dign them. I made the steering out of 1/4" solid. I gotsa say this steering setup is kicking my ass

This one shows how high the high clearance hot racing knuckles really are.

In top hole on the servo there's wasn't much steering. Dropping one hole makes it steer twice as much but also makes it look fugly. I may drill and tap another hole in between these two on the servo horn

Finally happy with this steering

In my opinion the hot racing knuckles are cool for custom builders. Axial bead locks won't fit over them and stock wraith wheels won't fit.

The steering is a little to high I think but would be awesome on a cms set up or dinky type mount.

Knuckles feel good. Bearings are a tight fit and actually seem tighter then at stock axial knuckles
