You must not have researched info on the Gmade piggybacks.

Off course these shocks aren't like 1:1s.

I do not like the looks of the piggy backs before researching I wrote off the gmades. Now I want them and still dislike how they look

I stand corrected. Last time I looked at g made shocks I didn't pay much attention to them since these weren't out yet.

Once they come back in stock I'm going to order up a set as they seem to fill most of the void that I was referencing.... Provided they are strong enough to hold up to pro4 wraith abuse and the o-ring seals keep the air/separate.... If not, it's just another useless shock that makes milk shakes for you!

lol. nothing wrong with milkshakes.

ive been doing alot of research on the gmade piggy backs most this research is led to the shourtcourse forumns. i now am completly undecided on what to get or if theyre worth it.

i bash hard and go very fast at times and these have a plastic cap with aluminum resivor.
i missed out on set of used ones on ebay last week.

weather is getting good so its time to start flying and maybe a good escuse to build an fpv plane and just run the wraith as is for now.

i did notice when doing big sand jumps 30-50ft of air time that the stock wraith shocks bottom very hard. traxxas gtrs and sprung and oiled for it might cure this alittle and bone cheap

G-made G-Transitions. Internal spring. You can run flip internal springs to change ride height. Live em. No leaky!

So for a Wraith type Basher, I've read the whole thread what would be the best setup for a basher setup and the occasional crawling?

So many choices, any help would be super, thanks

For go fast bashing go with firmer damping/springs on a shorter shock OR consider sway bars.

Crawling demands a little faster shock movement and softer springs. Longer shocks with a droop kit work well for me.

In the end you're going to have play with things to find what you like.

wow, you are exactly in the same situation than me, I running some C.K. Shock for the exo with medium springs, I just swap the shock shafts with the stockers and now my length is 93mm, the CoG is much better now and the car runs more stable

I'm going to get some traxxass gtr's 25-20 bucks for a set of four on eBay. They're damn good shocks my slayer had them.

Would make a baddass trail basher and sometimes rock bouncer

... if they are the Slash 4x4 rear shocks which they look to be, they are the exact same length as stock wraith shocks.
