Yeah. I'm away from my wraith but I'm not thinking of a way to offset mount the servo maybe if I build a new bumper

No CMS for me.
I ran like this for a while but the long screw with 2 links ended up bending so I moved the steering link under the arms.

I'd keep the servo on the axle for basher duty.

Rocks: As I suspected the panhard with droop set up limits front travel quite a bit because the panhard contacts the axle truss very soon when both shocks are compressed. This is offset by the fact that articualtion is not that bad, although more limited on the drivers side. The rig was still able to crawl OK but not great because the rear is unobstructed.
Just installed the CMS and pan hard. Same set up with the L3 shock mounts. Pan hard hits the axle limiting driver side travel. Fairly disapointed but fixable. Great scale look. Car drives great at various speeds. For the price it's ok, just wish I knew about the clearance issue before.

So I gather that this upgrade is cosmetic only(for scalers). Is there ANY performance advantages?

Any chassis mounted setup is for realistic looks only. In fact, if not done correctly it can be a hindrance to performance. The vp pieces address all issues and are worthwhile if you want a more realistic look.

Two advantages I can see on my wraith are for one, the servo is up higher and out of the water when creeking and mudding, and two, the servo horn isn't constantly getting bashed on rocks when crawling in the big stuff. I notice no performance differences between the two setups. I don't like buying $100+ servos and I am hard on my stuff so these are avantages for me.

Hey guy, im running the vp chassis mounted cervo kit and panhard kit in my wraith and my steering servo is the hitec Hs7954sh, I noticed I have some bump steer at speeds, and some chassis flex when I turn the wheel at a dead stop. Would someone be able to tell me how ti adjust for bump steer? I know that both links should be the same length and at the same angle. Im a bit of a noob but I learn quick, thanks in advance.
