I've got one and its worth it. Just find a gearing that works for you. It's the last motor you'll buy since its rebuildable.

I just put the FXR and 35T HD motor combo in my Wraith and its freakin awesome.!! Now I can really Crawl, I also have an 87 Tooth Spur Gear and a 14 Tooth Pinion gear which really delivers the torque. I like some may never need another motor....but I shouldn't say that because I cant keep my hands off of anything.

Not enough wheel speed but a good motor overall. I ran one for a full season of our scale events. Gear down volt up.

Are you still running the stock ESC?

Thank you for the info. My stock 20t with 84/16 gears running on a 3s gets too hot too quick and is taking the fun out of my wraith. Wish I had just went with a kit model. But I'm new to this hobby and with this being my first RC I wasn't sure about going with a kit.

I'm running one, have it hooked to a mamba max pro running 3s..It's geared 14/87 at the moment.. I like it and am happy with it for now..I may bump my gearing up a little, maybe 16t pinion..my temps are really good so I think going to a 16 will work out great..

i ran the tekin 35t in mine, it worked great and the crawling increase alot over stock forum, however the speed went out the window. so i decided to go brushless for more wheel speed.

What gears are you running in it and what would you say the top speed is now?

I use to have the tekin fx-r with the 35 turn motor but it is good for crawling but it is slow. I put a tekin rs esc with a tekin gen2 10.5 turn brushless system on a 5000 mah 50c 11.1 volt battery and it is crazy fast, it has a solid steel transmission and my gearing is 16/80 or pinion/spur. And my boost-age on the tekin hotwire are at like 15 % more boost so it runs around 160 degrees and that where I want it but I might be wrong it runs around 140-150 depending on hot weather. just to let you know it is insane power and yes I do have custom titanium drive-shafts. Hope this helps, - axial 4x4 crawler

I have no experience with the tekin 35t motor but I had the holmes hobbies 35t motor. Although it was great crawling I got real tired of 4mph top speed on 2s. If you are fine with going very slow go for it but i've recently upgrades to sensored brushless and i'd never go back.
