Paint on the DC rubicon hood and old pannles is almost done. Got some new TSS wheels commin, a 2nd gen rx8, and I'm going to try to run some bmrc rear trailing arms. I'm not sure if they'll work but I have to try. Also have some new ideas for the transmission. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk |

in order to use the BM trailing arms - the rear end of the chassis needs to be super narrow ! IMO | |

Alright I believe I have everything ready. Vp transmission case. Hot racing super duty light weight steel gears, crawler innovations 5mm wraith output set, and some double deuce foams, pit bull rock beast 2's on the new trail ready tss 2.2's. Super shafty bomb proof motor plate and super beefy top shaft. Some fast eddies bearings, TEKIN RX8 gen2, and I'm keeping the TEKIN pro4 hd 550 1850kv in it. I'm trying something new on this transmission. Traxxas summit slipper and now I will have a huge variety of spur gear options. I'm going to try 32pitch 50t spur and 18t pinion. I'm also running the hd over drive gears in the axles, this thing should move on 3s! Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk |

NEW PIX-I am trying to decide which shox to use for this year. Last year I ran doual spring topcad's I think 110mm or 120, I'd have to check the length. They leaked a little, not to bad for what I put them through. I got some g made external reservoir adjustable units. And they won't fit up front, will knock the hood off. I was thinking of buying the team durango units harley was using on one of his recent builds. Or I may just rebuild some old losi's. Here's a pic of how the pannles and hood turned out. I may try to spray the pannles with some clear rubber. I think its like bed liner, saw it at autozone, just have to test it on some cardboard with stickers to see if it eats them or the adhesive up. Any ideas or input on what shox I should run is appreciated. I pretty much use this as my rock bouncer/hill climber. I definitely will when I really start it, I'm still debating on the color, I will probably do the same bed liner spray I did on this, I think it'll survive a bit longer than power coat does. Soon as it heats up to 50+ outside, its ben -12 or lower lately, worst winter in years. If u saw the bad semi /car pileup last week on the news that part of i94 is like 10 minutes from my house. | (Left)old un rebuilt/stock shaft, (right) new rebuilt with new shaft. I improvised, I disassembled the topcad shock, disassembled a lightly used stock wraith shock, shafts are same diameter, wraith shafts are a bit longer maybe 5mm or so. I did this to save $$ as the wraith shafts use a small lock nut and washers to hold the piston on versus the topcad uses a c clip which I have pulled out a few times, not fun. I pit brand new o rings in to seal up the small oil that was leaking from cycling the shock. Worked great! Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk |

Looking good! I really like the shocks. Think you could give me a parts list to build a set?

They are 110mm top cad (asiatees.com) double shocks is how they are listed. They have an external reservoir cap, I used the caps from another top cad shock to eliminate the reservoir, I bought 2 sets of proline power stroke slash rear springs to fine tune both the springs on each shock. And a set of the stock wraith shock shafts. Use the piston from the topcad shock, since the wraith shafts use a lock nut instead of a e'clip you wont pull the shock apart when u are beating on the rig. I used 15wt oil, yellow top spring and green bottom all around. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk |

Very nice, I need to quit looking through all these Wraith builds because I am wanting one more and more lol. What bed liner stuff did you use to spray the chassis?
