I ran them last year. They do alright but I probably wouldn't chose them again. Pitbulls do better side by side it felt like. I'll be switching them out this year.

Catching some air on the obstacle course! I finished this course with seconds to spare. I was the first one to complete it.

I personally think that's too much.

Saying you like then more than PBs - what about them makes you say that and are they the newer compounds are older?

Are they pretty good all around like trails and crawling?

Hehe it was built last November, I just never did a build thread

They are both the new X2SS compound. To me they perform just as well as pitbulls but I favor them because they are different and not everybody has them....and to get them to look like mine you gotta spend a few hours trimming.

It's hard to say what the best way is. Which is why i went with two patterns. I left all the center tread on the front tires so they provide less rolling resistance, i'd also hope to gain more control when turning/cornering. (But since i crawl most of the time that last part doesn't matter too much) I did every other small lug (i think) on the back tires, just cuz I thought it looked cool.

I think it also matters what foams you do (or don't) run. I have the Pro-Line 2-stage rock crawling foams in mine, uncut, plus wheel weights.

I really like my current setup for what i do outdoors.

If you do decide to cut, it will take a lot of patience. Remember to measure twice and cut once. I got a little to eager on a few cuts and went right through the damn tire. No biggy though, i bought these patches for bicycle tires called "scabs", just small circular patches. Peel off the backing and paste inside. They are holding up well.

Having the right cutting tools helps too.
