HR spool/axle shaft issue

I was out checking my rig over as an after-run inspection, I'm noticing an increasing amount of play in the axle shafts. I have Axial universals in the front and stock shafts in the rear axle, HR spools and HD bevel gears F&R. I did notice when I had it all apart prior to my last run to replace some bearings for bushings the part of the shafts that go into the spool was looking awfully worn, almost "rounded". I have assembled them with loctite on the shaft into the spool.

I know there's a handful of us that run these, anyone else had similar issues? Am I missing something or is my rig telling me I haven't dropped enough cash into it yet?
