Default packin up the wraith

Well. Now that the snow is gone I wanna go crawl the wraith around. I was wondering what people use to put their rigs in if they have a little hike to get to where they're going.? Back pack or a big duffle bag? Or whatever?

Personally I would use a back pack of some sort. From my experience (not with rc's) it's the easiest way to carry any load over a distance and leaves your hands free to deal with any brush or limbs that get in your way...

My pack has a few straps on top. I usually run them under and over the front or rear axle and clip em in....good to go

I may have to rig up a back pack with some straps. Its too big with the wheels on to fit in any backs ive found.

Try snowboard backpacks. They usually have the straps for packing a board. And work great for this purpose.

I NEVER carry my rigs unless they're broken.

Camelbak Mule (three liters water, plus some storage), velcro strap the truck onto back of pack by frame and axles, buy some extra battery straps (they have longer ones at most good electronics stores that can be cut down to length). There are larger Camelbak packs that have more internal storage room, but the Mule works for me, carries all my batteries, tools, spares, snacks, and drinks.

Find a good backpack that will hold tools, batteries, food, water, transmitter, then strap the rig on the outside.

The fit of a pack is very important for comfort & fatigue.
Look for a size that fits your body with good padded straps & a padded a waistbelt really helps even out the load between your hips & shoulders.

Another vote for this. Been using the same backpack since 2005.
