Just went and picked up my Stiffy Kit from Jerry! Here is a pic of his truck from last year. Mine is almost just like it, only a few mods. Quote:

Here's a look at the pieces. The small brackets are front shock brackets. |

The bumper is steel while the upper chassis pieces are aluminum. I may be doing some welding on the bumper supports to hold the winch in place. Need to work out placement of everything once I get the truck here.

Im back over at Neal's place reworking the Skinz. After seeing Jerry's modified style I realize that was part of the appeal to me. Redesign is almost complete though. |

Can't wait to see it. I've had the thrill of running G6 events and the first Goat Hill Challenge and agree that a good build focused at either event would be a perfect setup for the either as well. I begged Jerry to put me on his to do list a couple weeks ago and can't wait to get my stiffy. Glad to know that my design thoughts are in line with yours. See ya next weekend.

Headed over for some brunch/lunch and then ill be back to work on the rig. Went and borrowed another Wraith last night from David F so I could mock up the front end for the winch. If I can knock out the fabrication stuff before the Wraith from Axial shows up I should be in good shape.

This is going to be a cool build Harley. And put together FAST too. Very excited to see the end product. Also very excited that it will be rockin' a set of my seats. I hope they do the build justice. I know we had talked about another design for them previously, but after seeing your skinz, I just didn't feel good about the seats. So... I think these will fit the scheme much better. I think they're pretty close to your skinz Neal put together. Looking forward to seeing this running!! |
