What brand of gear did you buy? I use traxxas e-maxx gears and they fit perfectly.

Why would you want an alloy spur? You need to have a weak link in the drivetrain somewhere and the spur is the best place.

I don't think that Robinson spur is a bolt on. Is it meant for a revo?

I have used both the 56 and 60 tooth duratrax spurs on the stock slipper without issue. RPP has them.

That spur would be huge. 60t is as big as you can go AFAIK.

Hmm.. A 56T 32 pitch spur is the same size as a 83T 48pitch spur...
A 84T 32 pitch spur would be gigantic...

That depends on the motor and batteries you are running!

Low-tooth pinion. I'm running a 54T 32 pitch spur and an 11T pinion with an Integy 35T V11 motor. it's pretty damn slow.

The Traxxas Revo spur gears are just a wee bit off. You also need a washer between the gear and the mounting plate if you use the stock screws.

I have the biggest spur I can (60t) and the smallest pinion I can (11t 5mm bore). If you have a normal size motor shaft you can go even smaller on the pinion.

I'm running a 56 duratrax 32p spur and 14 pinion and a 2100kv motor. Its plently slow.

56 is actually the biggest spur I can fit with the tmaxc driveshaft stock I could just barely fit a 66 with the cover removed
