Those heat marks are most likely from a heat treat process to the ends

Correct. The heat treating process softens the ends up just a bit. They are less likely to break. As a result, there is discoloration. I can guarantee they didn't repair your diff. It's more likely that they scrapped it.

Got my new power plant, and I'm getting a new spur tomorrow, so I'll have my tranny out.

I totally agree. I was pretty ticked with Axial went to that design - it's just silly. Further RRP stuff is junk - I haven't owned anything from them that I've thought was high quality.

The CI and super shafty outputs are damn nice, but I guarantee they would be stronger with flats instead.

Well ran it with the new motor. And the already kinda stripped tranny screws let go. So I'm in need of a new tranny case

Here is what the real solution to Wraith style outdrives will be! 6mm and ready to bolt in the stock case.

Those look nice, looking like SuperShafty to me, but I don't see them on the site. For a Wraith do you think it''s better to run the Wraith or AX/SCX type rear trans and output? My wraith is running Titan 21T on 3s...thanks.
