The TTC entry process is going to close soon and I still have not found time to start on my own chassis

Mattzilla happens to have his new Wraithzilla chassis coming out though and he offered one up. So in the interest of time, that choice is going to get the nod! He is sending it in a raw finish so that I can add any details that I'd like to.

He said it would be a couple weeks before I have it in hand so it's going to be crunch time when it shows up!

it looks good, but its very similar to what the PS looks like now with the fastback mod. what are the advantages?

A steel chassis has the flexibility of unlimited modification which is what I like. I plan to do a handful of modifications to customize this one. Plus, getting voted into a TTC with a stock Wraith chassis is not a very likely situation.

That is why I asked. I don't know much about the different comps out there, so that was a a curiosity question. not trying to rain on your parade. it definitely looks good none the less!

I'm definitely going to be adding some things to it to make it more my own. I think it's a solid chassis but making it my own will be a big focus.

Are you gonna start up that IFS Wraith build again?

Wanted to see the solutions for the steering problem, I am sure there are a few out here @ the U4RC that can use that info...haha

The couple that have run actually have great results...I think they are 4ws though.

Just a thaught.... Got to look into that Razor Tig, been following on utube, its cool.

By the end of the summer I'll have one running I would assume. We have been working on our Ultra4 track here locally as well.

They are the HPI Apache C1 drivers, I had my LHS order them was all. I know they are hard to find right now though.

6 days

Only 6 days left to build this truck and get ready to leave for Cedar City UT!

Lue sent me the chassis as quickly as he could and tonight is when I'll be starting to get this thing done.


I asked for a few simple modifications to Lue's standard design. I wanted a straight eyebrow bar and a single vertical pillar in the windshield area as opposed to the V or A that you typically see.






I need to get moving QUICKLY. I am going to be adding some details to the chassis to get me some more scale points as well. More details tonight.


SUGGESTIONS ON A SKIN THEME?
