I really don't need the extra power buttttttttt it would be nice to be able to go that little bit faster.
I do have a few 2S packs for my setup, rarely use them as I have 5, 3S packs I rotate through it. LOL

I'm really debating on getting the 2300kv version for my next 1.9 build, when ever I get to that point.

The mmp and roc412 is a great setup, the ax2 trans isn't needed but its kinda fun. I can outrun my brothers brushless 2wd stampede if that says anything. Running 15/60 gearing at the moment with underdrive gears front and rear.

I measured my top speed with the ROC412 on 3S and AX2 in 2nd gear, it went 33 mph which is almost uncontrollable for a fully locked Wraith, i have a 3:1 pinion/spur ratio

on 4S in 2nd gear, from a stand still on wet grass it will lift off the ground cause of tire expansion and then land and haul ass till it cartwheels rather spectacularly. I haven't tried this since I put in the dual stage CI foams so it may not jump anymore. I did the TWH trans because it was a good deal and it was "brushless ready" well, after putting in the steel gears from hot racing, the deal wasn't so great but its holding up well. I also run the 32p spur and pinion. Did i mention it has 4WS too? The cyclones are incredible!

If I were to build it all over I would do the RC4WD 2-speed trans. With metal everything.

Don't be afraid to put some preload in that right rear.

Anyone know if a 4000 20c lipo is enough for the roc 3100kv? Seems to have held so far but I don't wanna puff my lipos or blow anything up if it cant handle the amp draw of this motor!

What speed control are you using? Does it have an adjustable current limiter? If not, just check the temperature of your battery pack every so often. I

I was looking at going with one of these motors and the new Gen 2 teken esc: Thing is my wraith is close to 9lbs with the vanq curries on it, vvd's, robinson tranny gears etc. I mainly do crawling with some trail runs nothing fast (don't need speed). I'm currently running a brxl and pro team brushed set up. what KV would anyone suggest or would I be disappointed compared to my current set up with mainly crawling comp style courses? I also wanted to try this motor in my losi comp crawler.
