yea tekin specifically says that on he website to not change the timing on the roc412 because you do not gain anything and you create too much heat

I don't think you even can change the mechanical timing on the 412. The holes in the sensor board are round not slotted.

Timing is changed through the ESC on brush less motors. I've messed with timming and saw no gains but heat did rise with a advanced timing.


I Bet tekins t8 and rx8 settings are endless and way more tunable then a brushed combo. Brush less is a difrent world then brushed glad I never lived in the brushed world


However I have seen noticible gains on helicopters but yherevwecrun @ 80% power output and higher at all times and fly a governor to maintain head speed under load or no load situations. Way difrent world then cars.

I think I'd tune punch control before messing with throttle curves

anyone know any huge differences between the 412 and pro 4 3300kv? i have seen videos and they look very close except the pro4 being quicker?

any insight on this matter?

Some brushless motors have mechanical timing adjustment.
