| Mad Skinz Wrexo Wrangler Build
So, The Wrexo Early Bronco build was a success and ran great.. 4 wheel steering is amazing and Im digging the independent suspension....But, theres one problem..... Im at close to 12lbs.. loaded... Mad Skinz Wrexo Early Bronco I was off to see what could be done to this. |

It was purchased from a guy locally with some pretty nice ups. I ran it all of 5mins before parts were stripped. |

The hunt for upgrades is still on for the new Wrexo Wrangler but the object of this is to be low and lean for the Recon G6 RTX comin up soon. The competition is tough and with challenges like this, Lil Zombie was tired. |

I managed to cut the roof out and added some upper wraith links to the cage. (Thx VP) I was going to go Ultra 4 with the rear but man are they a lot of work I dont have time for. The roof cut almost fits the lower cage area clean. Atleast the roof is still visible with the Poison Spider logo |

Looking good, I like how you used the rest of the roof for the back. What is the total weight your shooting for? Will Carbon Fiber sheet work to replace the aluminum chassis plate? That would cut some weight. Rob |

That was one of the things I was going to replace. I have 3 prototype chassis as of now and one is C/F. It will mount everything to it, so I can eliminate the tranny pan as well |

Nice stance and Im diggin the look. It makes peace with the old racer in me...... Small rolling stock will also keep the heat down. The Flatty 2.2's are the smallest I know of.. Last edited by scottanthony; 07-16-2013 at 02:23 PM. |

I decided to shoot the TSS wheels to Dan W. for his latest Build and go with the Hot Racing 2.2 Alum. SLW Type A Beadlock Wheel. Im diggin the scale nuts and removable hubs. Last edited by scottanthony; 07-18-2013 at 08:07 AM. |

Only problem is, the standard offset is closer to a .225, so some drilling is needed and I now have VP .650's on the rear. Theyll even out the front nicely in width cause a stock exo is wider than the wraith axles. |

Wheels turned out nice on the Pitbulls. Im running a foam thats a proto right now which rounds out the tires for added grip. |

I wonder when Axial will build an off the shelf Wrexo. The Twin Hammers is nice, but too small. This is a great build, nice work.
