Mmp and pro4 setup questions

What kind of programs are you running on this motor and esc setup. I tryning to get mine to where it won't jump off the start. I know that I will get torque twist. Just looking to see what some are doing with programs. Thanks for the help.

Punch control 100, start power high. Throttle curve pulled down to 50 percent at 95 percent input.

Re: Mmp and pro4 setup questions

i dont do anything with the curves in castlelink.

i do dial back the exp on the throttle with the transmitter to get a more gentle throttle curve, and in times where alot of wheelspeed/power will get me in trouble i dial back the epa.

theres been times where ive ran in a comp with the epa dialed back to 60%...

Thanks for the help on this. I got my truck running and all I can say is WOW this thing is awesome able to do wheelies at the punch the throttle and still able to crawl. I will start a thread I a couple days.

Do you guys do any mod for shock and tires, because yesterday was my 1st ride outside with my new wraith and it was jumping around, with your mamba it should have very high power.. ?

Re: Mmp and pro4 setup questions

I didn't do anything to shocks or tires. I just turned down throttle curve that way I can go some what slow to crawl on rocks but still have the speed. I will be playing with the curves to help me and see what works out. This setup is just crazy with axel snapping power. Just like Harley said in bulletproof wraith put this setup in and watch the parts fly off. "thumbsup"

Punch control is good to use. Keeps me from launching of ledges

Re: Mmp and pro4 setup questions

I personally switched away from the Pro4 and went with the ROC412 now. There is something about it that I just like better. The low speed control seems to be better.

Re: Mmp and pro4 setup questions

I had torque twist also but that went away when I got Proline Powerstroke shocks, Slash rear on all 4. My curve is lower of the line to have half of my trigger for crawling. The rest of the trigger pull is balls out!
