Low wraith... Same flex? Flipping the mounts will it still have the same flex? Thanks guys. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Yes but your pinion angle will suck. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Meaning what? Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to crawlers. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Since the links will now be bolted to the holes that are farther from the axle center line the axles will be rotated slightly from their original position. This makes the pinions point down instead of up like they should. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? So I'm guessing it'll make them bind? Can I do anything with the shocks to help out the pinion angle a bit? |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Mine are flipped and my pinion doesn't point down. Its flat or maybe pointed up a but still. Your drive lines won't bind. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Ok I'll do it than. Which holes are your shocks on crawler? Thanks for the advice! |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Furthest hole back. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? The effect of lowering the ride height helps counteract the pinion angle. There is no issue running that setup. |

Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Ok thanks a lot guys I'll do the flip when I get home from work. Glad to hear you verify Harley. I'll try both of y'alls suggestions hateful and crawler. |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? Most every one here runs shitty pinion angles. Even the high dollar well built rigs even me at times. See mostly only cosmetic issues and slight clearance issues. Youl be fine its worth it to lower it |
Re: Low wraith... Same flex? I had wondered how it would affect the travel, looks like a win win to get the COG lower and still have good travel. I guess this is one of the next things I'll do with mine as well, hard to beat a free mod. 8) |
