2 speed transmission

I watched a you tube vid on a wraith with a 2 speed transmission. It looks very cool. I was wondering what those of you who have one think of it: performance, durability, etc"thumbsup"

There's a lit of good info on here about them. Do a quick search. Although there is no need for 1 if you have a good brushless motor. I have the pro4 3300kv and with a single speed it will go faster than I need it to.

I have 1 on my wraith, and if there is any advice you should listen to, GET THE HD OUTPUT SHAFT!
That said, I love this transmission. As crawler nut said, it's kinda overkill with a good brushless motor but I however, have a need for speed mentality. Maybe it stems from my 1/8 on road racing years ago? I am running a pro4 4600kv with 12t pinion and 60t spur. It's stupid fast but also crawls great.

I wouldn't mind having one but gonna go the pro4 route first.

I'm planning on running the brushed Holmeshobby set that Harley recommends (35T torquemaster and BRXL ESC). I don't see myself doing any comps(yet) and thought a two speed tranny would give me the ability to crawl and bash with one vehicle.

I guess this is an alternative to building two different trucks. Maybe I've been going about this wrong.
