Got the k3 running on a spring loaded toggle switch with a 2s lipo. Man I burned a fee wires figuring out how to make the motor reverse direction.
It isn't the ideal setup but will be handy in the comps when in a pinch. Have about 5 ft of wire that comes off the radio so just plug it in when needed.
Bought 4 ft will be carried in my pocket.

Back later with a quick video of the k3 going vertical.

Been foam tuning. I do not like the foams on the market advertised for the pits. So I made my own

I do think I prefer the pits on narrow wheels for this chassis

I have the 2.2 pit bulls on my Wraiths with the TSS Versante wheels ,They are not clipped yet ,But you have my interest with yours being clipped ,I am running the Nova CI foams ,There are better than the stock foams I feel mostly for side hills ,,I like your rig! it does look tuff as nails ,,,

Thanks Robert.

You won't regret cutting pits. They clean way better everyone says the clean good stock but I didn't think so they held mud and turned into marbles on me. Cutting helped on the rocks to. The shoulder lugs are often the first to contact rocks so I opened them up. Seem to pull harder. The center I kinda paddled out.
I cut all rubber. Lol

I'm starting to like the pitbulls. I made the decision yesterday to mount them on my good wheels. I really like there shape on narrow wheels. I've also tuned the center to get more shape to them

Few of her stance.

Links are about level.

Now we wait for part's. This is a maintenance part for me.

Think my rear end must be flexing . Already took out that fairly new set of rear gears. Will swap out and hack on the nose it's just to long.

Been swapping new cases whenever I install a new r&p or locker. Seems expensive at first but chunking gears costs way more in the long run.

Got any recent videos of your rig?

Djjiz
Thanks yeah. I didn't realize I just did gears until I posted on here. I run 1/8 power and have found these gears to be the week link even shimmer and changing pinion bushings alot. I had a few pendleton drinks last night and never got to the gear swap.

I've got quite a few bids but not many of this chassis running. There should be some back aways.

Quick test run on the home brew extended output and bigger spure. I'm digging it. This is a sensor less rig and crawls very well. I now have lots of low gear options with this huge 1/8 scale motor
