| STRC Front axles For Wraith Don't Fit
Need a little help. I did a forum search and tried to contact STRC without success. I bought a set of STRC front axles/CVD for my Wraith (stock housings) thinking I needed more steering and strength. But, when I installed them the axle shafts were binding on the screws that fasten the lower shock/link mount to the axle housing. I was able to briefly run the truck. But, it was obvious something was wrong. So, I took it back apart and discovered a perfect shiney line around the shaft where it was rubbing the screws. I put the Axial axles with uni's back in after a little research on here told me they were probably just as good if not stronger. So, give me your thoughts, opinions and and tidbits of wisdom on this. |

If you're set on running the STRC axle shafts, just let the axle shafts and screw rub until enough clearance has been made. It wont hurt anything. The Axial universals are MUCH stronger than anything else on the market. I abused the heck out of mine and they were completely fine.
