Default Mad Skinz Terra-Wraith IFS Build

So, it seems as if the only Down time I have is at around Midnight due to work and family.
Im not sure if I get restless or all the ideas have stacked up in my head to the point I feel the need to rip something apart. ...?
.....And like most of us, I have boxes of Axial parts laying around.
Then there was a lil EXO sitting on the shelf, itchin to get a new look so, heres what a late night of restlessness brought me.

Basically just cut the Wraith cage lower braces off the sides which mount to the frame rails.

Whats nice. (...and we can Thank Axial's Design team for) is that they line up with the factory EXO side mounts and are the exact size, width and length. All four corners will screw right to each other, so you will use existing holes.
But, the cage will need to be drilled about 30mm inward/upward.

Was all you used from the wraith is the cage? Do you have a pic with the hood open? Thinking of trying this out. Just wondering what all the parts I need are.

Front view under the hood. There is no mounting place under here between the lower and the upper.

The rear is mounted to a cut center section on the Wraith. The stock EXO skid was never removed. With some trimming, they will go together.

The rear of the cage has to be strengthened. Youll need a link between the two cage sides to take up flex. I also wanted mine stiff as possible. So, a few spacers and I moved the shocks out. But the lower shock mount has to be moved if you want the rear to squat.

After seeing this thread, I decided to do this. I cut the "tube" on the Wraith to slide into the EXO holes. Now the rear is a tad high, even with the shock mount flipped, but a little massaging to the front and all will be good. Killer idea man.

Thanx, Its gonna run LOW.. If I had Pneumatic air shocks, Id drop it to the frame during staging.

Just eliminate the rear shock mount all together. It will fit in the shock hole inside or out.

Heres the rear. I used an angled link mount which keeps it from binding.
